I plugged in the power supply but didn’t hear anything but because I don’t know anything about trains I can’t say whether it’s working or not. I don’t even know if this is a matched set. That is why I am selling as is. Comes with assembly instructions as well as a flyer or leaflet that states basics for beginners. There are 5 plastic cars plus the engine and the caboose.
