Please see ALL of the photos, this is the exact transformer and box you will receive.  The photographs are a direct representation of the condition of the unit.
We recently acquired this from a large train collection buyout.  The transformer is in very good cosmetic condition, showing normal wear and tear.  The cord and plug are in great shape.   We are happy to provide additional photos if desired as our trains and accessories are sold AS IS with no returns.
When plugged in, the unit makes a humming/vibration sound as is should.  That is all the testing we have done.  The light does not come on, we assume the small bulb needs to be replaced.
The transformer comes in the original box.  The box shows some wear but is solid and complete.  The original operating instructions are included as well.
