DESCRIPTION:
This vintage amber plastic Conn Comet tenor sax mouthpiece was made for Conn by Runyon Products in the 1950s. It is stamped as a 4 and measures .076"/1.93mm. It has heavy cosmetic scratching all over, including heavy scuffs on the beak. The shank is cracked and has some buildup in its flutes. The table, tip, and rails appear to be in overall good condition. A minor touchup of these parts and a shank band from a mouthpiece technician would help to preserve this vintage mouthpiece.
