    Description

    You are bidding on a rare vintage B.D. Bob Dukoff Hollywood mouthpiece in a 5* facing. This is the either the 1945 or 1949 model...it's hard for me to tell. It has the facing stamped on one side and the serial number stamped on the other side. It features a large chamber and rounded inner sidewalls. Dexter Gordon is reputed to have played this model (either '45 or '49).
    The tip, rails, and table are all original and in good shape. The bite plate, as you can see, has wear, but the mouthpiece is completely playable with a mouthpiece patch. You can get the bite plate replaced by any mouthpiece repair technician. The mouthpiece sounds amazing...big and fat sound, with some edge.
    This is a no-reserve auction. These don't grow on trees, so don't let this one slip by!
