Here we have an extremely scarce vintage Selmer-Johnston Bb clarinet mouthpiece. It was expertly refaced by Lee Livengood. The combination of his stunning work and the vintage rod rubber along with the nicely designed interior result in something special. The sound has an effortless focus and a nice ring with a solid core. Articulates like a charm. Please check the pictures for the condition.
This vintage was produced only for a short period of time in the late 1930's. There are not many of these out there, this is a once-in-a-lifetime possibility to get your hand on one.
Plays best with with strrength 3 reeds, but your preference may vary.
According to my measurements, it has a tip opening of 1.06 and a facing length of 36 (Brand scale).
