For auction is a very old electric train transformer; while undated, I believe it is from the 1930s. The transformer was manufactured by Louis Marx & Co. for Marx electric trains. It is 115 volts, 25 watts, 60 cycles and was made in the USA. The transformer measures appx 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches and has a 6 foot long power cord. It weighs just under 2 pounds. It has been many years since this transformer was used, and I fully expect it is unusable in its current state. It probably needs to be broken down and rebuilt. I make no representations as to its functionality; restoring this might be a fun project for the Marx enthusiast.
