For auction is a very old electric train transformer; while undated, I believe it is from the 1930s. The transformer was manufactured by Louis Marx & Co. for Marx electric trains. It is 110-120 volts, 45 watts, 60 cycles. The transformer measures appx 4 x 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches and has a 6 foot long power cord. It weighs just under 4 pounds .It has been many years since this transformer was used, and I fully expect it is unusable in its current state. It probably needs to be broken down and rebuilt. I make no representations as to its functionality; restoring this might be a fun project for the Marx enthusiast.
