Lionel ZW275 Trainmaster Transformer

Description

Lionel ZW275 Trainmaster Transformer. This is the type R version of the ZW that’s been cleaned, sanitized, completely serviced , tested, and test operated. Both primary and secondary windings have been resistance tested and were well within acceptable parameters. All 4 carbon rollers have been replaced , roll freely, as depicted in photos. All 4 terminals are intact and solid , and graduating voltage increases and decreases are correct ,up to 20.6 volts AC and back to zero . Whistle and direction voltage increases and drops tested perfectly at both A and D terminals and functioned correctly when test operated on a track. Circuit breaker functioned properly during an induced short circuit. A nee reproduction “L” power cord has been installed . Cosmetically it’s in very nice condition with no cracks or chips and placard and all lettering is excellent.
