This is the first version of the postwar ZW . It’s been cleaned, sanitized completely tested and serviced and test operated to ensure it functions correctly. There are 4 new carbon rollers ( shown in photos) that roll freely across the coil windings for a nice smooth operation. Primary and secondary coil windings have been resistance tested and results were well within acceptable parameters. Voltage outputs at all 4 terminals graduate from 0 to 20+ volts as depicted in photos. Circuit breaker has been tested by an induced short circuit and operates correctly. Whistle and direction control contacts at A and D controls have been cleaned and whistle and direction functions work perfectly. All 8 binding posts have been checked and a new repro “L” power cord has been installed . Cosmetically, there are no cracks or chips in cases, no rust on base , both jewel lenses are intact and nameplate badges are excellent. Includes a 6 page copy of the operating and installation instructions. The original box is in decent condition with all end flaps and the bottom and side inserts.
