    Description

    This Lionel Prewar Type T Multivolt Transformer has a 100 Watts capacity and has the nickel identification plate. It has a new power cord, I did do a quick test using B - U connections and it worked fine, it is almost 100 year old transformer so obviously I cannot make any guarantees as to functionality. The original box must have been destroyed but the label was saved and is included, see photo. The base appears to have had some rust and has been painted.
    The No. 88 Battery Rheostat is in good condition, these were produced from 1915 to 1927, and were used to control the speed of a train between the speeds generated by the the transformer settings like on the Multivolt transformers.
