Lionel #990 Legacy Control System
I initially thought this unit was new, but it is not.  It shows some signs of usage with a few minor surface marks on the controller.  The set doesn't include any batteries and I noticed in the hand controller battery compartment minimal battery residue.  There is a little (very minor) spots of blue battery residue.  Set includes the manual (looks new).
The box has some shelf wear and a few surface scratches.
