    Description

    For sale is a New Old Stock LGB 50111 6 Amp Transformer.  This was made by Steger in Germany for the LGB line after Marklin bought Lehmann.  This takes 120 Volt, 60 Hertz household alternating current and converts it to 20 Volts with a maximum output of 6 Amps.  It is a built-in circuit breaker with a reset button for safety's sake.  This was originally designed to power the Multi-Train System, but is a great power source for independently running auxiliary features on a layout such a lights, pumps, motors, etc.  I bought this new from a reputable hobby store several years ago, but never used it.  The power cord still has the factory band for shipping!  The box has severe shelf wear - and came that way to me.  I have only opened it to inspect it and photograph it.  It has the original manual and warranty papers as well.  This comes from a smoke-free home.  I can, to some degree, combine items to save a Buyer on shipping.  Please look at my other LGB items and cars for sale.
