    This is a high-output AC transformer and is the core of the LGB Universal Power program. It provides 6 'true' amps of AC current,  and is ready for hook-up to your throttle. I purchased this unit new, a few years ago and have only used it occassionally on my MTS test track.  It was manufactured in Germany and comes with its original box(which definitely has shelf wear) and an Instruction Manual.
    The traveling expenses for this heavy-duty transformer covers shipping, handling, and insurance.
