Vorfachringe - Pitzenbauerringe
Vorfachringe sind kleine sehr leichte Metallringe zum Verbinden des Tippets mit dem Fliegenvorfach.
Am Fliegenvorfach wird einmal ein Vorfachring angeknotet, danach das Tippet. Getauscht wird nur das Tippet, wenn es nach dem Fliegenwechsel zu kurz wird. Ihre Fliegenvorfächer halten so länger.
Die montierten Ringe sinken nicht, daher lassen sie sich zum Trockenfliegenfischen verwenden.
10 Ringe sind auf einem Karabiner montiert - der als Spender funktioniert
in 2 Durchmessern,  2mm und 3mm, erhältlich.
Die kleinen Ringe empfehlen sich zum Trockenfliegenfischen, die größeren Ringe sind für die Verwendung beim Streamerfischen gedacht.
Ideal sind die Ringe auch bei der Verwendung von Spingern am Seitenvorfach.
