Description

The Exhaust Back Pressure and Temperature Monitor kit is a microprocessor based controller system that monitors exhaust back pressure and exhaust temperature and indicates excessive exhaust back pressure and excessive exhaust temperature with the added feature of recording and logging exhaust back pressure and exhaust temperature history. An interactive program that can be loaded onto a lap-top computer then connected via a serial (USB to RCA) cable connection to the front of the display monitor can download the exhaust back pressure and exhaust temperature history of a particular vehicle utilizing this kit. This can become a great advantage in the monitoring of vehicle engine life and efficiency. The display module can be mounted in the dash or anywhere in the cab and indicates the presence of an initial high back pressure level (Yellow- Service Engine) and extreme high back pressure level (Red- Stop Engine). The 194-750 Kit also has the added feature of monitoring exhaust temperatures and will indicate when excessive exhaust temperatures exist using the same L.E.D. lighting system.
