RETAIN THE ORINGINAL RED CENTRE BRACE! ALSO MEANS THE HANDBRAKE KIT WILL FIT WITHOUT FOULING!
This mounting plate enables you to mount your Castle XLX2 ESC above the center diff.
ESC FITS WITH THE STOCK BODY INPLACE (Even on the Felony).
It comes with a 4mm thick Aluminum plate, which mounts on four spacers (included) and is held down by Four Countersunk screws (Included). The Castle XLX2 esc is then held to the plate with Double Sided Tape (Not included). Once in place
the sliding motor mount can STILL be accessed
(See pic) to change the pinion.
This kit DOES NOT come with a Castle XLX2 included!
However If you fit a Castle XLX2 esc you will have no more over heating issues and be able to run an 8S motor if needed.
To fit the kit simply remove the existing four screws in the top of the center diff, place the long screws through the countersunk holes on the Aluminum motor mount, then put
the spacers over the long screws so as to mount the plate over the centre brace. Line the screws up with the holes on the centre diff cover. Tighten all four screws until plate is secure, and the plate is flush.
