Mounting Plate Kit to Fit a Castle XLX to the Losi DB XL-E. The Kit Comes with pre-drilled mounting plate, and all fixings needed to fit your Castle XLX ESC to the Losi DB XL-E.
This mounting plate enables you to mount your castle XLX ESC above the center diff. FITS WITH THE STOCK XL-E BODY INPLACE. It comes with a 4mm thick Aluminum plate, which mounts on four spacers (included) and is held down by four M4 steel socket screws (Included). The XLX esc is then held to the plate with 4 screws & nyloc nuts (All included).
This improves airflow over the ESC and lets you mount it securely and in plenty of space (which you'll know is an issue if you've tried fitting a castle XLX Esc inside the stock car).
This kit DOES NOT come with a Castle XLX included! It does not come with extension wires to fit the motor to the esc, although do check out our auctions as we sell extension leads in various sizes and lengths.
To fit the kit simply remove the existing four M4 screws in the top of the center diff, place the long Countersunk M4 screws through the countersunk holes on the Aluminum motor mount, then put
the spacers over the long screws so as to mount the plate over the centre diff cover. Line the screws up with the holes on the centre diff cover. Tighten all four screws until plate is secure, and the plate is flush. Then mount castle esc on top of the plate using the m3 screws & nyloc nuts (Both included).
