    2 Cavities - 4mm Square
    Cast Iron ingot mold for Wire and Rods, ingot is to pour molten metal for wire making. Ingot can be used to make Gold, Silver, Brass and Copper square rods. The rods in turn can be further rolled down on a Rolling mill as well as Wire drawing dies or Draw Plates to make wire to the diameter size required.
    The advantage of these closed wire ingots is that the solid metal that comes out is uniform in size thickness.  Not like open wire ingots.  Ingot is made of
    Gray Cast Iron
    to ensure the best
    Quality
    and durability
    Made in Italy.
    The top of the Ingot is tapered to allow pouring of molten metals easier. The face plates
    (both sides)
    are machined to interlock to ensure uniform and consistent size of the wires.
    A-1 PREMIUM  - RATED
    Ingot mold has 2 pouring grooves  that measure 4mm x 4mm Square, and a length of  90mm the weight of each rod will be approximately  35 grams or more depending on the metal and karat being poured.
    Ingot has a U-Shaped clamping handle to secure the two interlocking plates tightly, simply place the clamping portion in the center of the ingot and tighten the steel wing nut.
    Note:
    This is for the Professional Smelter - Never Overheat Ingot especially in repeated melts and pours, use Oil or Wax prior to pouring of molten metals.
