1926 America Sesquicentennial .5 GOLD - Certified NGC AU-58

Description

Beautiful bright gold coin - Blue tint in Pic's, don't know where this came from.
AU-58  these coins were not circulated at the time, so don't know where the 58 grade
came from
This is NGC AU-58   and contains  .121 oz of pure gold
NO Returns since this is certified
200k minted  but 154,207 melted for dist of 46,019 but became rarer when the
socialists took over in the 30's and banned ownership of gold - so more were lost
or melted
Little recent price history here and on Heritage archive especially after the recent
(1 1/2 years) rise in gold silver and collectible prices
So price set at current coin values value for an AU-50 even though this is much better
and there is no buyer premium like other sites - just a 10% + haircut to me
